危険種の犬の規制
メルボルン郊外の街で、ピットブルという犬種の犬が３０歳の人間を襲いました。ピットブルは闘犬として育種されてきた筋肉質な犬で、高い運動能力を持っています。ビクトリア州政府は、ペットとして飼われている危険な犬の規制を強化して、首輪も口輪もしていない犬が道路で見つかれば、捕獲して安楽死させるつもりです。

| Councils in Victoria are to be given the power to destroy dangerous breeds of dogs if they are found on the streets with no collar or muzzle. The announcement comes after an attack in the northern Melbourne suburb of Reservoir last night. A pit bull attacked a 30-year-old man while he was walking his two small dogs.
