- Listening
- Is an answer of three words the longest answer you would be expected to write ?
- No. Sometimes, you may see a question that says 'NO MORE THAN THREE WORDS AND/OR A NUMBER' which means that you can have a number plus 3 words.
- Speaking
- If my speaking test only lasts for 11 minutes instead of 14, is that a bad thing ?
- Yes. It means that you did not answer the questions fully in each part, and therefore you would lose marks for fluency.
- Reading
- Do I have to always guess the meaning of specialised vocabulary ?
- No. Sometimes there is a footnote at the bottom of the article for vocabulary that is technical.
- Writing
- Is Task 2 worth double the points of Task 1 ?
- Yes.
